The international poker star will enrich the role with his extensive experience in the industry.
partypoker LIVE is very happy to receive Bruno Fitoussi as an ambassador for live events in Europe.
French by birth, Bruno ‘King’ Fitoussi, brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role and will join ElkY (Bertrand Grospellier) in the European team of ambassadors. Fitoussi will be using his vast experience in the industry to share player feedback directly with the partypoker LIVE team, in order to shape the partypoker programs and products in Europe.
Fitoussi, also known as the ‘King of Europe’ has enjoyed success in some of the biggest poker tournaments in the world. Especially in 2001, when he won the World Heads-Up Poker Championship (1st edition) defeating Amarillo ‘Slim’ Preston in the final. Fitoussi was also a finalist for the WSOP HORSE $ 50K (Players Championship) in 2007 and 15th in the WSOP Main Event in 2003 . Fitoussi has been nominated four times for the prestigious WSOP Hall of Fame.
Located in Paris, Fitoussi was the poker consultant for 20 years in the Aviation Club de France (ACF) and has been a commentator for hundreds of poker tournaments in different TV shows.
Speaking in his new role as an ambassador for partypoker LIVE, Fitoussi said: “I am delighted to join the partypoker LIVE team – partypoker has always had a special place in my heart, so to be working with them is a great privilege for me. I have a vast experience in the industry that I am excited to share and I hope to get involved in all aspects of the business. “
With an agenda full of events for the coming months, the first Fitoussi tournament will be MILLIONS UK. He said: “I can not wait to go back to Nottingham, to Dusk Till Dawn for the MILLIONS UK, and the Caribbean Poker Party in The Bahamas is a must for any poker player. To finish 2018, I will be heading to Deauville for the WPT Deepstacks in December [3-9 December]. “
